How We Work

Established Operators Wanting to Scale Their Business

  • The majority of our clients are small businesses who have established a successful, profitable model and now want to scale the business. These clients typically don't have the ready capital to start additional units, and no longer want to deal with the headache and cost of employees. This client usually has established systems and processes, but have not yet documented them.

  • Increasingly, entrepreneurs are identifying the opportunities that franchising offers small businesses and choose to launch their new business concept in a franchise model from day one.

How We Work

  • We have extensive experience working with both scenarios and our development process is equally affective for both. Unlike other franchise consultants, we are happy to assist you with developing and documenting your processes, and see this as an integral part of gaining the knowledge required to develop a franchise model around your unique operating systems, rather than trying to fit your business into a generic franchise framework.

Discovery – Weeks 1 - 7

  • We get to know your business through a series of discovery meetings and conversations involving other stakeholders and key team members of your business.
  • We talk through the many options available and our recommendations in structuring the franchise agreement, as well as the various ongoing franchise fees and contributions.
  • We conduct market research around industry franchise fee and royalty benchmarks.
