This is one of the most common questions I am asked, and my answer usually surprises.  The short answer is you don’t have to have your systems and processes well documented, but you do need to have them.

All trading businesses have systems and processes for the day-to-day functions and operations. These are one of the first things you develop when you start the business, although, what you start with and what you end up with are often very different. That’s because hopefully as you progress and your business grows, your systems and processes become more efficient and streamlined, allowing you to become more profitable in how you deliver your product or service to the market.

The majority of clients we work with have developed robust, profitable business models, but haven’t had time to sit down and document the internal processes and procedures that underpin that model.

That’s where we can help, franchising essentially is a growth model, in fact the most successful business growth model. Ever. In order to take your business to the market as a franchise opportunity, you have to build a road map which provides the user (franchisee) the step-by-step instructions on how to operate the business.

When we work with you we conduct a number of discovery meetings where we learn as much as we can about your systems and processes, and then set about documenting these into comprehensive, easy to follow, operating manuals, or, the road map to success for your franchisees. Essentially, we do all the work.
